I was awoken early by a puppy that could not stay in the house on what was to be the dry day of the weekend. What amazing instincts. Off we went to Buchli Station for some swamp play. After finding a lost leash (no reason to discuss how it was lost) we made it back to the car and headed off for a vineyard visit with Caly and Max. It seems to help the level of excitement when my two have run for about 1 1/2 hours preceding their vineyard run.
Then off to Kenwood where we met up with the Gammon and Burns gangs. Great to see everyone. As always I love Lyn's egg sandwiches. They went great with lettuce harvested that morning from the organic Burns garden and some fresh crab.
The kids played "Run from Lea" through the vineyards. She was hapy because she was able to give a few puppy kisses before they left her in the dust.
